Shell Beach on Herm Island is only accessible by air or sea so although the trip is short it’s a pleasing adventure just to get there. Clear turquoise waters invite crabbing, rock pooling and snorkelling, while the white sand begs for castling and traditional family play. In conjunction with Outdoor Guernsey, kayaks are available to hire from Shell Beach for leisure paddles or guided tours.
